With the aim of promoting short films of emerging filmmakers, the seventh edition of NociCortinfestival inaugurated the partnership with the HollyShorts Film Festival.

All short films submitted to NociCortinfestival 2012, are also candidates for the Special Hollyshorts Award. Delegates from Hollyshorts were choosen a selection of works to be screened in August at the HollyShorts Film Festival. The director of the winning film flew to Los Angeles for present his work to the American public.
Big surprises has also reserved the 2nd edition of “Taglia Corto“, a short-film competition between film troupes from across Italy to come to Noci for shoot a short-film in just eighty hours. In the end, six  film troupes have produced six amazing short films.

Unforgettable in the seventh edition also the presentation of the legendary conductor Clive Mc Griffiths and the interview with Stefano Salvati, director of the best music videos in italian history.

Winners and Prizes

The jury, comprised by Maurizio Di Rienzo (film critic and journalist), Stefano Salvati (director and screenwriter), Joseph McCabe (film critic and journalist), Filip Sterckx (director) assigned the NociCortinfestival  Prize for best short film to “Invisible” by director Harold Chapman.
