August 2006: a group of cinema buffs, sharing a creative thread and a strong interest in the art of cinema, decided to give birth to a project that enhances the short movie world.

These are the intents that characterized the first edition of NociCortinfestival, an international film festival totally devoted to the cinema of short films.The event, since its early days, obtained great participation and visibility among film directors, film makers and spectators.

The festival boasted over 100 short movies coming from every part of the world and representing all kind of genres: documentary film, video clip, animation, fiction and comedy movies animating the main square of the town of Noci Piazza Plebiscito, an amazing set scene and venue of the festival.
