Hollyshort film festival is still calling for entries to the 2013 edition to be held in August, from 15th  to 25th, in Hollywood at the historic Grauman’s Chinese Theatre. Over 200 short films have been accepted to screen at this year’s festival and the best and brightest filmmakers from around the globe will be showcased.

The last edition of the festival featured three italian short: “Disinstallare un amore” by Alessia Scarso, “Gamba Trista”, animated short by Francesco Filippi and Oroverde by Pierluigi Ferrandini, also winner of the Hollyshorts  Special  Award . The short has been recognized   in its important value by hollywood filmmakers and aboveall by co-founders and co-directors of Hollyshorts,  Theo Dumont and Daniel Sol, very  close to the  indipendent short horizone and devoted to the advancement of brightes short films from around the globe. Both excited about the confirmed partnership with Nocicortinfestival, involving the Italian Cultural Institute of Los Angeles, they have shared goals and are working together actively to develop the aim of appreciating the seventh art.

All short-films submitted to NociCortinfestival, are also candidates for the Special Hollyshorts Award and have a chance to be screened at the HollyShorts Film Festival.
